Lisbon house of pizza is one the many tastes of Lisbon that always leaves you satisfied and yet coming back. I've never had a bad meal or something I didn't like, their is many dishes I haven't tried but am sure they would all be excellent. The food is always fresh the staff has a smile and if your in Lisbon Falls and craving pizza come to the Lisbon house of pizza you wot be disappointed! ;)

LHOP's house special pizza is amazing. Each bite is filled with flavor. I'm not sure what their secret is, but it keeps me wanting more. Which is dangerous.

Overdone everything. I would have given three stars but I reserve that for average food. This was below average. Mozzarella sticks were overdone. Potatoes wedges? Basically large French fries without much flavor. Pizza was overdone. The cheese came off in one large overcooked piece when I tried to pick a pepperoni off. Will give it another try in case it was an off night but it really was pretty disappointing overall.

Fast take out. Antipasto salad is stuffed w deli cuts and cheeses. Pizza is solid. Overall, really a good value.

In many communities, options for eating out are limited to fast food, convenience stores, or worse. Unlike Portland, with its abundance of foodie emporiums, some wonderful, and many just plain trendy and overpriced, most of rural Maine lacks farm-to-table when it comes to options other then cooking up dinner at home. In Maine (and probably elsewhere), most of the Houses of Pizza have a Greek influence and similar styles of pizza. They also serve salads, Italian and grilled subs, as well as gourmet-style pizza, too. The House of Pizza in Lisbon (actually, Lisbon Falls--there is a difference) has all of these options. Twenty years ago, when my son was playing youth sports like hockey and baseball, we regularly stopped at Lisbon House of Pizza for post-game dinners picked up and brought home for consumption. The food was always thoughtfully-prepared, hot, and satisfied the hunger that comes from being two hours past dinner time. Happily, after a long day spent community organizing in rural western Maine, I was heading back home and passing through the old hometown and decided that it would be a good time to check out the old House of Pizza as I didn't want to have to spend 30-45 fixing dinner. I'm glad I did. I had the eggplant parmesan sub. The breaded eggplant was cooked to perfection and fresh from the oven. The sauce was of the flavorful Italian-style variety. The foil lined wrapper kept it hot until I got home, a 15-minute drive away. I also went with a large Greek salad; lettuce, green peppers, tomatoes, Greek olives, red onions, and feta cheese, with a creamy Greek dressing. The salad was large enough to split and feed two. Along with pizza and subs are a variety of dinners (that include fries & onion rings) like cheeseburger, gyro, grilled chicken, fish, and house (2 chicken fingers, 2 cheese sticks, 4 chicken nuggets, fries, and marinara sauce) baskets. Not fancy foodie fare, but places like Lisbon House of Pizza (and most of the other Houses of Pizza), offer above-average take-out dining that's flavorful and provides decent value for their customers.

Solid pizza.... Check Fast service.. Check Crispy, delicious take out wings... Check! Wait what? Yes, you read that right. Crispy but not burnt wings... As take out.. That are still crispy on a 15 minute drive home. Yes, it actually happens here, at a small town house of pizza. Don't forget your order of fried mushrooms too if that's your thing, they rock. The only reason it's not a 5 is it's just not my favorite style of pizza dough but it's true to house of pizza style and it's done well. In high school, my BFF and I lived off of their chicken finger subs. I haven't had one since but their quality on everything else hasn't slipped in 16 years so imagine it's still a great sandwich too!
